- Don't exit course!

- The 7th star in the main course isn't a coin star, it's a normal star hidden under the biggest platform of the stage, you're supposed to reach it with a wing cap.

- Under normal circumstances you can only save up to 8 stars, you can save more by dying to return to the hub, and getting a star in the 1st course or bonus lava level so you can save.
