Cosmolite 64

Not long ago, a team of Quagsires entered a cave located high on a cliff side. Their goal was to find and extract an extremely rare element known as Cosmolite. They had teamed up with a group of Boo’s to explore this cave, but soon after finding an ore deposit, the leader of the Boo’s betrayed the Quagsires, forcing them to flee. The Big Boo took the two power stars from the Quagsires, and started using it to extract the power from the Cosmolite for himself, causing earthquakes to change the cave to be much more treacherous to navigate.

Now, the Quagsires have called for Mario to help get the power stars back and stop the Boo from causing any more damage.
